Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski stated that the modernisation of Ohrid Airport would contribute to an increase in the number of passengers and airlines using the airport, thereby supporting the development of tourism and the local economy. He added that Ohrid Airport is a key link in the development of the region as a whole and of North Macedonia as a country, as well as in the development of Ohrid, Struga and the surrounding municipalities.
